Grade 12 - Specialist I, Technology Integration
Hiring Range: $46,438 – $59,227
The Technology Support Services Specialist I, Technology Integration will work under the direction of the Manager, Technology Integration – TSS in a team-oriented environment and will provide technical and operational support for all integrated technologies district wide. This position will also work on project teams as a team lead or team support to build scalable integrated technology solutions. Responsibilities include providing excellent service, research and development, preventative maintenance schedule design, troubleshooting of systems, repair of components and quality control of installed systems as well as maintaining accurate inventory and service information. Additional responsibilities include providing support to other members of the TSS and ITS team and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Physical security and safety system components such as cameras, door access controllers, control subpanels, servers, network video recorders, cable infrastructure, emergency notification systems, health and wellness monitoring systems as well as administration of proprietary control and automation systems in a highly integrated and networked environment
- Integration and administration of intelligent lighting and lighting safety systems (network controlled, intelligent fixtures, luminaires, controllers, servers, and automation systems)
- Integration and administration of wellness and health safety systems
- Plans and executes projects for installation of integrated physical security, intelligent lighting, and safety technology systems district wide
Maintains enterprise level system monitoring and deployment platforms for physical security, intelligent lighting, and safety, plus health and wellness systems - Supports the TSS Service desk by providing level 3 support to users to resolve problems with hardware, software, programming networking and cross system integration.
- Develops and maintains system documentation
- Other duties as assigned including training, event management and coordination
Grade 13 - Specialist II, Technology Integration
Hiring Range: $50,433 – $64,380
The Technology Support Services Specialist II, Technology Integration will work under the direction of the Manager, Technology Integration– TSS in a team-oriented environment and will provide technical and operational support for all integrated technologies district wide. This position will also work on project teams as a team lead to build scalable integrated technology solutions as well as develop and mentor team members. Responsibilities include providing excellent service, research and development, preventative maintenance schedule design, troubleshooting of systems, repair of components and quality control of installed systems as well as maintaining accurate inventory and service information. Additional responsibilities include providing design, installation and maintenance support to other Yavapai College Staff, support to other members of the TSS and ITS team and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Installation and administration of desktop and mobile device operating systems, hardware and software as well as administration of proprietary control and automation systems (Crestron) in a highly integrated and networked environment.
- Senior level project management for desktop/laptop/mobile computing system building, presentation technology installs and technology equipment replacement including budget maintenance and hardware/software procurement.
- Maintains enterprise level system monitoring and deployment platforms for desktop, mobile and presentation systems.
- Supports the TSS Service desk by providing level 3 support to users to resolve problems with hardware, software, programming networking and cross system integration.
- Coordinates across ITS on technology security measures, server integration and asset management tasks and projects.
- Supervises work of on-site staff while on project sites.
- Develops and maintains system documentation
- Duties related to physical security/safety at a technician II level

Grade 14 - Specialist III, Technology Integration
Hiring Range: $53,913 - $69,981
The Technology Support Services Specialist III, Technology Integration will work under the direction of the Manager, Technology Integration – TSS in a team-oriented environment and will provide technical and operational leadership for all integrated technologies district wide. This position will also work on project teams as a project manager and team leader to build scalable integrated technology solutions as well as develop and mentor team members. A successful Technology Integration Systems Engineer will be connected with national higher education technology groups and will be knowledgeable about instructional technology best practices. Responsibilities include providing excellent service, research and development, preventative maintenance schedule design, troubleshooting of systems, repair of components and quality control of installed systems as well as maintaining accurate inventory and service information. This position may be assigned to supervise hourly and student worker staff members. Additional responsibilities include providing design, installation and maintenance support to other Yavapai College Staff, support to other members of the TSS and ITS team and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Expectations & Requirements
Specialist I
High School Diploma or GED with two years of technical experience in deployment, management, administration and integration of computer or presentation technology hardware and software or physical security and safety system components, infrastructure, and platforms.. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed.
