Entry-Level Classroom Support Specialist
Job Description
The Classroom Support Specialist supports and delivers equipment and technology services for University classes and special events, working as part of the IT Support Services team. Support Services staff provide frontline general technical support and referral for incoming IT customer requests via phone, email, web forms, and walk-in customers. The Classroom Support Specialist also performs or coordinates maintenance and troubleshooting of classroom technology systems and equipment. This position additionally trains faculty, staff, and students in the use of technology.
Experience Required
Associates Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience. Experience supporting technology users. Customer service experience. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
