The Learning Spaces department is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for education, instruction, and technology, bringing them together to assist faculty. As a Technology Integration Specialist - Instructional Technologist, the candidate will be expected to bridge the communication gap between technology and instruction. The ideal candidate should possess instructional teaching, design, or technology experience along with moderate A/V experience, should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and should enjoy the thrill of helping others succeed. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team, and bringing about positive change to a vast array of users, this is the job for you!

The candidate should have a working knowledge of audio, visual, computing, and software technologies and how they work together in a classroom/presentation environment. They should also be well versed in instructional methods and pedagogies, preferably in a higher education environment. They should be able to produce detailed documentation on how to use audio/visual systems and be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. The candidate should be capable of maintaining a professional appearance, setting priorities, and moving several tasks forward simultaneously with only moderate direction. Knowledge of Extron products and control systems is preferred, as is a CTS or teaching certification.
