KEYNOTE PRESENTATION
ACTUAL Intelligence: A Guide for Achieving the Extraordinary

The introduction of large language models (LLMs) to the general public has resulted in a groundswell of discussion around artificial intelligence (AI) and its implications. As instructional support staff, we need to understand AI, develop AI strategies, figure out how to drive business value with AI and yes, help lead AI transformations at our institutions.  However, amidst the hype, let’s not overlook the importance of ACTUAL intelligence, the genuine human curiosity and capacity that allows us to learn, to reason, to understand and to imagine possibilities in a rapidly changing world. This keynote will focus on the importance of leveraging our ACTUAL intelligence in shaping the future of education, recognizing that human ingenuity remains essential in our work as instructional technologists.
