2025 Annual Conference: Call for Proposals Now Open Join the Educational Technology Collaborative this fall as North Carolina State University host us for the 2025 Annual Conference. The mission of ETC is to provide leadership and a forum for information exchange to the providers of media content, academic technology, live events, and support for quality teaching and learning at institutions of higher education. The 2025 ETC Program Committee welcomes proposals for topics that exemplify the mission of our organization. “Imagine the Possibilities, Achieve the Extraordinary” is our conference theme, so preference will be given to those proposals that feature innovative or visionary ideas, processes, or products and foster collaborative discussions. All sessions will be 45 minutes with a 15-minute Q/A session We are excited to invite you to join us this October in Raleigh, NC. IDEA Committee Webinar: The Role of Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) Thursday, May 22, 2025 | 12-1p EST Hosted by the IDEA Committee, this webinar will cover the role of VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) in evaluating the accessibility of products and services for people with disabilities within a higher education context. Attendees will learn about the importance of VPATs in ensuring compliance with accessibility laws like Section 508 and the ADA, as well as how to interpret the different components of a VPAT. The session will highlight the value of VPATs in making informed procurement decisions and improving accessibility in educational settings.
