Audio Visual Technologies Specialist
Job Description
The Audio Visual Technologies Specialist supports and delivers equipment and technology services for University classes and special events, working as part of the IT Support Services team. Support Services staff provide frontline general technical support and referral for incoming IT customer requests via phone, email, web forms, and walk-in customers. The Audio Visual Technologies Specialist also performs or coordinates maintenance and troubleshooting of classroom technology systems and equipment. This position additionally trains faculty, staff, and students in the use of technology.
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, video or audio production, or related field required. A minimum of two years related experience in classroom and/or event technology support, utilizing a variety of audiovisual technologies, including hardware, software, and cloud-based applications and services.
